Ryan is a planner with a vision for the future, and that serves our B&E clients well.
Ryan’s worked in financial planning his entire career, starting with Prudential after college and then working with an independent firm. When he was searching for a growth trajectory, he found B&E.
“I had my three-, five- and ten-year plans. I looked at the firm I was in and saw limited growth opportunity,” Ryan said. At B&E, he found a culture that values continuous learning and growth. Ryan joined our team in 2017 and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2019.
With a decade of experience in the field, Ryan helps clients with foundational and financial planning: bringing it all together — insurance, investments, finances and estate planning— all With Your Interest In Mind.
Ryan serves all of our clients, and he is on a mission to encourage more millennials to plan for the future. You may not have a huge estate now, but getting your estate plan and legal documents in order is a first step. “You want to be sure you know what will happen to your kids if you are not here,” Ryan shared.
Ryan also recommends maximizing your 401(k) match, so you are not leaving money on the table. “Retirement may be 30-40 years out, but getting on the right track early will make a big difference and set you up nicely for the long term.”
Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Gustavus Adolphus College and played baseball for the Gusties all four years. He and his wife, Allie, have a young son, Blake. Don’t be surprised if you find them out at the little league field in years to come.
When Ryan isn’t at the office, you can find him with his family walking along the lake by the Wayzata Depot or at Wayzata Community Church. They also spend family time at the cabin, either on Farm Island Lake or Turtle Lake. Pretty much anything on or around a lake brings Ryan the peace and perspective he needs to bring fresh-thinking to your planning.
At B&E, Ryan found the culture of learning and growth he loves; he also found a home. And B&E clients are at the forefront of his long-term plans.
